It is with great pride and purpose that I welcome you to Lyantonde School of Nursing & Midwifery. Our institution was born from a clear and urgent need—to train skilled, compassionate healthcare professionals who will serve the rural communities of Uganda with competence and heart. We understand that the path to becoming a nurse or midwife demands dedication,  resilience, and a deep sense

of service. That is why we have designed our programmes to be both rigorous and accessible, offering flexible learning options and multiple study centres to remove barriers to entry. Through our community health unit, Youth Action for Health, we ensure that our students graduate not only with clinical skills but also with a profound understanding of preventive and community-based care.

As you consider joining us, know that you are not merely enrolling in a school. You are answering a calling. You are choosing to be part of a movement that places quality healthcare within reach of every Ugandan, regardless of how remote their village may be.
