Lyantonde School of Nursing & Midwifery is a private institution dedicated to producing exceptionally competent nurses and midwives capable of increasing access to basic healthcare services in rural Uganda. We focus on delivering the National Minimum Health Care Package through locally trained professionals who understand the communities they serve.
We currently offer a two-and-a-half-year Certificate in Enrolled Nursing and Midwifery, with plans to introduce diploma programs in Registered Nursing and Midwifery, along with other certificate courses.
Through our registered community health unit, Youth Action for Health, we provide trainees with practical education in preventive, community, and personal health. Operating as a Community-Based Organisation registered with Lyantonde District Social Services, this arm serves as our direct entry point into communities and is in the process of obtaining NGO board registration.
