Ubuntu Heath Initiative (UHI)
The Ubuntu Health Initiative (UHI) is a Community-Based Organization founded in 2020 as an offshoot of the Lyantonde School of Nursing and Midwifery. We are committed to transforming lives by implementing sustainable interventions that address the health and social needs of communities, households, and individuals.
Our approach empowers people to lead their own development by bridging the gap between healthcare services and the community. Through collaborative programs, we foster long-term resilience and self-reliance, ensuring communities have the capacity to thrive independently.
